Fixtures, fitting, aerials, satellite dishes, verandas, decking and shed covered. Your sum should be calculated taking these into account.

Cover provided for storm damage (unit must be anchored/stayed to the ground).

Assistance provided should your unit become uninhabitable as a result of an insured loss.

Loss or damage to household goods, personal effects and luggage whilst contained in the unit, if shown in the schedule.
Tip #1
Ensure your water system is fully drained down between the 1st of October and the 31st of March annually and the water turned off by a stopcock.

Review your sums insured each year as this may influence your mobile home insurance premium.
Tip #3
It is advisable the your structure sum insured should include the mobile home and any decking and shed that you have. Note that your contents should include the contents in your unit and also what is contained in your shed.

Before reducing your sums insured, do some market research. This will give you peace of mind that you are not under-insuring your mobile home.
